iti rājānaṃ stutvā brāhmaṇasya manoratham apūrayat, tato rājā svanagaram agamat. imāṃ kathāṃ kathayitvā puttalikā bhojarājam abravīt: bho rājan, tvayy evaṃvidham audāryaṃ vidyate cet, tarhy asmin siṃhāsana upaviśa. iti dvitīyopākhyānam
