7.2

śaraṇam aśaraṇaṃ vā bandhamūlaṃ narāṇam,
kṣaṇaparicitadārā dvāram āpadgaṇānām;
viparimṛśata putrāḥ śatravaḥ; sarvam etat
tyajata, bhajata dharmaṃ nirmalaṃ śarmakāmāḥ. || 2 ||

A refuge or no refuge, [home] is the root of bondage for men; / a wife enjoyed for an instant is the gateway to a host of misfortunes; / reflect: sons are enemies; abandon all this, / and, desiring happiness, devote yourselves to spotless righteousness. || 2
