setuṃ gatvā samudrasya gaṅgāsāgarasaṃgame,
brahmahatyā pramucyeta, mitradrohī na mucyate. || 15 ||
Having gone to the ocean's bridge at the confluence of the Gaṅgā and the sea, / one may be freed from killing a brahmin, [but] a betrayer of a friend is not freed. || 15
