1.18

ambhojinī-vana-vihāra-vilāsam eva
haṃsasya hanti nitarāṃ kupito vidhātā |
na tv asya dugdha-jala-bheda-vidhau prasiddhāṃ
vaidagdhī-kīrtim apahartum asau samarthaḥ ||

The Creator, when exceedingly angered, can destroy only
the swan's pleasure of sporting in the lotus thicket;
he is not capable, however, of taking away
its fame for skill celebrated in separating milk from water.
