1.24

jayanti te sukṛtino
rasa-siddhāḥ kavīśvarāḥ |
nāsti yeṣāṃ yaśaḥkāye
jarā-maraṇa-jaṃ bhayam ||

Triumphant are those meritorious poets,
masters of verse accomplished in aesthetic relish,
in whose body of fame there is
no fear born of old age and death.
