āmīlita-nayanānāṃ yaḥ
surataraso 'nu saṃvidaṃ bhāti |
mithurair mitho 'vadhāritamavitatham
idam eva kāma-nirbarhaṇam ||
The relish of love which shines upon consciousness / for those whose eyes are half-closed, / perceived mutually by the pair— / this alone is the true fulfillment of desire.
