satyaṃ janā vacmi na pakṣa-pātāl
lokeṣu saptasv api tathyam etat |
nānyan manohāri nitambinībhyo
duḥkhaika-hetur na ca kaścid anyaḥ ||
Truly, O people, I speak not out of partiality; / in all seven worlds this is the simple truth: / there is nothing more captivating than round-hipped women, / and there is no other single cause of sorrow.
