tasmād anantam ajaraṃ paramaṃ vikāsi
tad brahma cintaya kim ebhir asad-vikalpaiḥ |
yasyānuṣaṅgiṇa ime bhuvanādhipatyabhogādayaḥ
kṛpaṇa-loka-matā bhavanti ||
Therefore contemplate that Brahman, endless, ageless, supreme, and radiant; / what is the use of these false mental constructs, / of which these enjoyments, such as sovereignty over the world, / prized by wretched folk, are mere by-products?
