Now begins the section on worship.
It destroys sin, shatters evil destiny, slays calamity,
accumulates merit, extends fortune, nourishes freedom from disease,
1. ‘A load of wood’. 2. ‘Resembling a mountain’; the reading in ms. ka is ‘girīndrasadṛśam’. 3. ‘Sinking’. 4. ‘In the gathering of ascetics’. 5. ‘Chapter on worship’ in ms. ga; but in ms. ka there is no division into sections.
