akṛtvā parasaṃtāpam agatvā khalanamratām /
anutsṛjya satāṃ vartma yat svalpamapi tad bahu //

Without causing distress to others, without bending low before the wicked, / without abandoning the path of the good, whatever [wealth] is acquired, even if very little, is much.
