acumbi yā candanabindumaṇḍalī nalīyavaktreṇa sarojatarjinā /
śriyaṃ śritā kācana tārakāsakhī kṛtāśaśāṅkasya tayāṅkavartinī //

The cluster of sandal-paste drops kissed by the lotus-defying face of the bent-headed girl, / attaining a certain splendor and becoming a friend of the stars, made the moon abide in her lap.
