akālamṛtyuṃ parihṛtya jīvitaṃ dadāti yo dehasukhaṃ ca dehinām /
natena dhātrāsti samaḥ kuto'dhiko na jīvitāddānamihātiricyate //
He who averts untimely death and gives life and bodily comfort to embodied beings— / there is none equal to that creator, how could there be anyone superior? No gift in this world surpasses life.
