From this lotus was born the venerable Vedhas; on it a place of honor was made upon the heads of the gods; and this is the dwelling place of fortitude for the goddess Śrī. / Therefore, O moon, as for your prolonged enmity toward this lotus renowned throughout the expanse of the world—it is truly the persistence of a fool.
