1.27.38

iti pradhānāḥ pittārtyaḥ svaṃ rūpaṃ tasya vakṣyate
lāghavaṃ taikṣṇyamauṣṇyaṃ ca varṇāḥ śuklāruṇādṛte

these are the principal disorders of pitta. Its own characteristic signs will [now] be declared:
lightness, sharpness, and heat; colours other than white and reddish-brown;
