kaphajānāmasakhyānāṃ pradhanāḥ parikīrtitāḥ
snahaśaityaguruśvetamādhuryaṃ kaphalakṣaṇam

these are proclaimed the principal [disorders] among the innumerable disorders born of kapha. / Unctuousness, coldness, heaviness, whiteness, and sweetness are the characteristic signs of kapha;
