alpaśo vā nivṛtteṣu bādhamāneṣu vā'lpaśaḥ
rāgādiṣu prayuñjīta kāle saṃśamanaṃ hitam
or when redness and the like have slightly ceased, or when they trouble only slightly, / at that time one should apply the beneficial pacification therapy.
