pitāmahaniyogācca dṛṣṭvā ca jñānacakṣuṣā
tapasā nirmitaṃ tantramṛṣayaḥ pratipedire
Both by the instruction of the Grandfather and having perceived it through the eye of knowledge, / this compendium was composed through ascetic practice; [and] the sages received it.
