pakvāvaśeṣastenāśu pacyate'gniśca dīpyate
doṣapaktyā'gnidīptyā ca jvarasyāpacayo dhruvam
Thereby the remainder after digestion is quickly cooked, and the digestive fire is kindled; / and through digestion of humours and kindling of the digestive fire, the reduction of fever is certain.
