8.2.65

samyagāhāraceṣṭābhyāṃ yadā sātmyaṃ yatheritam
samānāṃ rakṣaṇaṃ kuryāddoṣādīnāṃ vicakṣaṇaḥ

When, through proper diet and activities, wholesome adaptation is maintained as described, / the discerning physician should protect those [factors]—the humours and the rest—that are in equilibrium;
