pittaṃ kaphaṃ kaduṣṇatvāt saṃskārācca niyacchati
yūṣadhātuṃ vadanti jñā dravīkaraṇapākayoḥ
it restrains pitta; and kapha on account of being lukewarm and through processing.
The wise state the verbal root yūṣ in the sense of liquefying and cooking.
