8.8.111

teṣūttamāṃ praṇidadhet snehamātrāṃ vicakṣaṇaḥ
ya ebhyo madhyamāvasthāḥ puruṣāsteṣu madhyamām

in them the wise physician should administer the maximum dose of unctuous substance;
for men who are in an intermediate state between these, the medium dose;
