grīṣme tulyaguḍāṃ sasaindhavayutāṃ meghāc ca varṣāgame
tulyāṃ śarkarayā śaradyamalayā (śuṇṭhyā) yuñjayāt tuṣārāgame /
pippalyā śiśire vasantasamaye kṣaudreṇa saṃyojitā
rājan bhakṣa (bhuṅkṣva) harītakīm iva rujo naśyantu te śatravaḥ // 6 //

In summer combined with equal jaggery; at the arrival of the rains from the clouds, with rock salt; / in autumn with pure sugar; at the coming of the frost with dried ginger; / in dewy season with pippalī; in springtime combined with honey: / eat harītakī, O King, so that your enemies may perish like diseases! // 6
