pathyaṃ dīpanapācanaṃ laghutaraṃ saśvāsakāsāpahaṃ
hikkādhmānanavajvarāmaśamanaṃ śleṣmāpahaṃ vātajit /
saṃśuddhodaravastiśuddhikaraṇaṃ hṛtpārśvaśūlāpahaṃ
gulmārocakapīnase nigaditaṃ kaṇṭhyaṃ śṛtoṣṇaṃ jalam // 51 //

Wholesome, kindling digestion and digestive, extremely light, relieving dyspnoea and cough, / pacifying hiccup, flatulence, acute fever, and āma, expelling śleṣman, conquering vāta, / purifying the emptied abdomen and the bladder, relieving pain in the chest and flanks, / it is prescribed for abdominal lumps, anorexia, and catarrh, beneficial for the throat—such is boiled warm water. // 51
