śṛtaṃ śītaṃ tridoṣaghnam uṣitaṃ tac ca doṣakṛt /
tat pādaśeṣaṃ doṣaghnaṃ ardhahīnaṃ tu vātajit // 57 //
Boiled water cooled down destroys the three humours, but when left overnight it produces disorders; / that reduced to one-fourth destroys the humours, while that reduced by half conquers vāta. // 57
