sarvaśāstrārthatattvajñaḥ kuśalo rasakarmaṇi /
etallakṣaṇasaṃyukto rasavidyāgururbhavet //
knowing the true meaning of all scriptures, skilled in alchemical work—
endowed with these characteristics, one may become a guru of the science of mercury.
