<pāradaśodhana (1)>
palatrayaṃ citrakasarṣapāṇāṃ kumārīkanyābṛhatīkaṣāyaiḥ /
dinatrayaṃ marditasūtakastu vimucyate pañcamalādidoṣaiḥ //

<Purification of mercury (1)>
With three palas of plumbago and mustard seeds, along with decoctions of aloe, kanyā, and bṛhatī,
mercury triturated for three days is freed from the impurities such as the five types of dross.
