<pāradaśodhanam>
kumāryāśca niśācūrṇair dinaṃ sūtaṃ vimardayet /
pātayetpātanāyantre samyak śuddho bhavedrasaḥ //
<Purification of mercury>
One should triturate the mercury for a day with aloe and powder of turmeric;
one should sublime it in a sublimation apparatus: the mercury will become thoroughly purified.
