vidyaiṣā smṛtimātreṇa naśyante gutthakādayaḥ /
sapta japtena toyena prokṣayet kālacoditam //

By the mere recollection of this spell, skin eruptions and the like are destroyed. / With water recited over seven times, one should sprinkle a person afflicted by death;
