samyaṅ mṛllavaṇaiḥ sārddhaṃ pārśve bhasma nidhāya ca /
caturyāmaṃ paceccullyāṃ pātrapṛṣṭhe sagomaye //
along with clay and salt properly, and having placed ash at the sides, / one should cook it for four yāmas on a hearth, with cow dung on the back of the vessel.
