raktādhikye sirāmokṣaḥ pāde bāhau lalāṭake /
kartavyo dṛṣṭirogeṣu kuṣṭhināṃ ca viśeṣataḥ //
When there is an excess of blood, venesection in the foot, arm, and forehead
should be performed in eye diseases, and especially in patients suffering from kuṣṭha.
