māṣamātrāṃ vaṭīṃ khādeddharetstrīṇāṃ jalodaram /
ciñcāphalarasaṃ cānu pathyaṃ dadhyodanaṃ hitam /
jalodaraharaṃ caiva tīvreṇa recanena tu //

One should eat a pill measuring one māṣa; it takes away ascites in women. / Tamarind fruit juice should be taken after; boiled rice with curd is beneficial as wholesome diet. / And it removes ascites by means of drastic purging.
