7.24

kṣiptvā triṃśatpale pācyaṃ tadrasaṃ māṃsapiṇḍakam /
saṃdhyām ārabhya mandāgnau yāvatsūryodayaṃ pacet //

having thrown in thirty palas [of oil], that mercury mass wrapped in meat should be cooked. / Beginning at twilight, one should cook it over a mild fire until sunrise.
