apāmārgaśikhāṃ ghṛṣṭvā madhunā saindhavena ca /
tāmrapātre kṛtā netre hanti pīḍāṃ suvistarāt //
Having rubbed the spike of apāmārga with honey and rock salt / in a copper vessel, when applied to the eye, it thoroughly destroys eye pain.
