atra citrakakvātho dvivelaṃ vidyate 'to dvādaśabhir auṣadhair ekādaśaiva iti sūtaśodhanasaṃskāras tṛtīyaḥ || 21
Here, the decoction of citraka occurs twice; thus among twelve plant substances there are only eleven. Such is the purification of mercury, the third alchemical processing.
