Having placed mercury that has digested sulphur into an earthen dish enclosure within a Bhūdhara apparatus, and having added realgar essence in the amount of a thirty-second part, having placed a small earthenware cup over the opening and smeared it with cloth and clay, one should kindle a fierce fire; and when the realgar essence has been digested, another thirty-second part of it is added.
