<lead, tin:: mṛta:: medic. properties>
mṛtaṃ vaṅgaṃ ca nāgaṃ ca rasabhasma samaṃ guṇaiḥ /
parasparamalābhe ca yojayettat parasparam //
Incinerated tin, lead, and calcined ash of mercury are equal in their qualities. / In the absence of one another, one may substitute them for each other.
