ubhe vahnirasairbhāvye peṣye śoṣye dinatrayam /
melayetpūrvasūtena tadardhaṃ ṭaṅkaṇaṃ kṣipet //

both should be triturated with plumbago juice, ground, and dried for three days;
one should combine with the previous mercury, and add half that amount of borax.
