sacchidraṃ tanmukhe mallaṃ tanmukhe'dhomukhīṃ kṣipet /
mūṣopari śikhitrāṃśca prakṣipya pradhamed dṛḍham //
A perforated shallow cup is placed upon its mouth, and inverted upon that mouth, one places [the crucible];
heaping charcoals on top of the crucible, one should blast it intensely.
