puṭettat ṣaṣṭivārāṇi sindūrābhaṃ prajāyate /
kṣayādyanantarogaghnaṃ bhavedyogānupānataḥ //
It should be calcined sixty times; it becomes like cinnabar in appearance. / It destroys wasting and countless other diseases, depending on the formulation and vehicle used.
