10.73

{sasya:: parīkṣā:: good quality}
mayūrakaṇṭhasacchāyaṃ bhārāḍhyamatiśasyate /
viṣaṃ dravyayutaṃ yadvad dravyādhikaguṇaṃ bhavet /
hālāhalaṃ sudhāyuktaṃ sudhādhikaguṇaṃ tathā //

Possessing the lustre of a peacock's neck and heavy in weight, it is highly praised. / Just as poison combined with a substance becomes superior in virtue to that substance, / so hālāhala combined with nectar becomes superior in virtue to nectar.
