līḍho vyoṣavarānvito vimalako yukto ghṛtaiḥ sevito hanyād durbhagakṛjjvarān śvayathukaṃ pāṇḍupramehārucim /
mūlārtiṃ grahaṇīṃ ca śūlamatulaṃ yakṣmāmayān kāmalāṃ sarvānpittamarudgadān kimaparaṃ yogairaśeṣān gadān //

licked with the three pungents and the three myrobalans, accompanied by vimala and consumed with ghee, it destroys miserable fevers, swelling, anaemia, urinary disorders, and anorexia, / pain of piles, malabsorption, incomparable colic, wasting diseases, jaundice, / all diseases of bile and wind—what more?—all diseases entirely through suitable combinations.
