kuryād dīpanam uddhataṃ gurutaradravyādisaṃcūrṇanaṃ hanyādaṣṭavidhaṃ ca gulmam aruciṃ plīhāmayaṃ svāmayam /
śvitrādyaṃ sakalaṃ ca kuṣṭhamacirātpāṇḍvāmayaṃ ca jvaraṃ śūlaṃ mūlagadaṃ tathā śvayathukaṃ śvāsaṃ ca kāsaṃ nṛṇām //

It produces intense kindling of the digestive fire, pulverises extremely heavy substances, / and destroys the eight types of phantom tumour, anorexia, splenic disorder, pulmonary affliction, / leukoderma and all other skin diseases in short order, anaemia, fever, / colic, haemorrhoids, as well as edema, dyspnoea, and cough in humans.
