etadbhasma suvarṇajaṃ kaṭughṛtopetaṃ dviguñjonmitaṃ līḍhaṃ hanti nṛṇāṃ kṣayāgnisadanaṃ śvāsaṃ sakāsārucim /
ojodhātuvivardhanaṃ balakaraṃ pāṇḍvāmayadhvaṃsanaṃ vṛṣyaṃ sarvaviṣāpahaṃ garaharaṃ duṣṭagrahaṇyādinut //

This ash born of gold, combined with pungent substances and clarified butter, licked in the measure of two guñjās, destroys consumption, loss of digestive fire, dyspnoea accompanied by cough, and anorexia in men; / it increases the bodily vigour and tissues, gives strength, destroys anaemia, is an aphrodisiac, dispels all poisons, removes artificial poison, and expels malignant chronic diarrhoea and the like;
