dehalohamayīṃ siddhiṃ sūte sūtastato mataḥ /
rogābdhiṃ pārayedyasmāttasmāt pārada ucyate //

Because it engenders (sūte) perfection in body and metals, it is regarded as sūta; and because it carries across (pārayet) the ocean of diseases, it is called pārada.
