āyurvajraṃ vitarati nṛṇām aṅgavarṇaṃ suvarṇaṃ sattvaṃ vyomno madakaribalaṃ tāmram ugrāṃ kṣudhāṃ ca /
māyoḥ śāntiṃ rajatamamalaṃ kāntametatsamastaṃ śrīmān sūtaḥ sakalagadahṛd dehalohe tu siddhaḥ //

It bestows upon mortals diamond-like lifespan, gold-like bodily complexion, the metallic essence of mica, the strength of a rutting elephant, copper-like fierce hunger, / silver-like pacification of bile, and all that is radiant; the glorious mercury, when perfected for the body and base metals, removes every disease.
