amunā kramayogena grāso deyastṛtīyakaḥ /
pañcamādhyāyanirdiṣṭe yantre caivāntarālike /
nirudhya jāraṇāṃ kuryāt dravyasya vārttikaḥ //

In this sequential manner, the third morsel is to be given;
and enclosing the substance in the intermediate apparatus described in the fifth chapter,
the alchemist should perform digestion.
