rasanigamamahābdheḥ somadevaḥ samantātsphuṭataraparibhāṣā nāma ratnāni hṛtvā /
vyaracayadatiyatnāttair imāṃ kaṇṭhamālāṃ kalayati bhiṣagagryo maṇḍanārthaṃ sabhāyām //

Having gathered from all sides the jewels called clear technical terms from the great ocean of alchemical lore,
Somadeva fashioned with great effort this necklace with them, which the foremost physician wears for ornament in an assembly.
