{dhānvantarabhāga}
ardhaṃ siddharasasya tailaghṛtayorlehasya bhāgo'ṣṭamaḥ saṃsiddhākhilalohacūrṇavaṭakādīnāṃ tathā saptamaḥ /
yo dīyeta bhiṣagvarāya gadibhirnirdiśya dhanvantariṃ sarvārogyasukhāptaye nigadito bhāgaḥ sa dhānvantaraḥ //

Half of the prepared mercury; an eighth share of medicated oil, ghee, and electuary; / likewise a seventh of all perfected metal powders, pills, and the like: / that which is given to the best physician by patients dedicating it to Dhanvantari / for attaining complete health and happiness is declared to be the physician's share for Dhanvantari.
