{mahāmūṣā}
tale yā kūrparākārā kramād upari vistṛtā /
sthūlavṛntākavatsthūlā mahāmūṣetyasau matā /
sā cāyo'bhrakasattvādeḥ puṭāya drāvaṇāya ca //

[Mahāmūṣā]
Shaped like an elbow at the bottom, gradually widening upwards, / thick like a plump eggplant: this is considered the mahāmūṣā. / And it is for the calcination and melting of the essence of iron, mica, and the like.
