Rasendracūḍāmaṇi 5.16

dviyāmaṃ svedayedevaṃ rasotthāpanahetave /
etatsyādvalabhīyantraṃ rasasādguṇyakāraṇam //
In this way, one should steam it for two watches (six hours) for the purpose of recovering the mercury;
this would be the valabhī apparatus, a cause of excellence in mercury.
